Alan Jones need to be locked up in maximum security.

If ever there was incitement to racist fascist violence deserving seven years Alan Jones just spent a week doing just that. |

What just happened? Before the Sydney race riots I mean.
There was the Anti-terror legislation and Kim Beazley proffering stricter measures against hate speech and incitement to violence. Against fascism.
On this one point and precious little else I went out on a limb and supported him.
Some reasons are as follows. The Rwandan massacres were arranged and the signal for genocide given over the radio. The pogroms in Nazi Germany were also.
Ideas have consequences and most racist fascist violence is invariably preceded by the signal, the word.
Alan Jones has earned seven years I reckon.
80.2 Sedition. Urging violence within the community
(5) A person commits an offence if:
(a) the person urges a group or groups (whether distinguished by race, religion, nationality or political opinion) to use force or violence against another group or other groups (as so distinguished); and
(b) the use of the force or violence would threaten the peace, order and good government of the Commonwealth.
Penalty: Imprisonment for 7 years.
(6) Recklessness applies to the element of the offence under subsection (5) that it is a group or groups that are distinguished by race, religion, nationality or political opinion that the first-mentioned person urges the other person to use force or violence against.
Alan Jones boasted that he had spent a week inciting the violence we saw at Cronulla. His conviction ought to be a routine formality. His guilt is obvious.
I am a proud anarchist who would like nothing more than an end to the state. In the absence of any obvious rebellious or revolutionary movement to abolish it I am forced to work within the statist parameters set.
As the new sedition law involves an increase in the encroachment of the state I shall be renewing my efforts in other areas to diminish the power of the state - and not all legal efforts either!
The clear and present danger of racist fascist violence is what led me to my support for Beazley... not knee jerk contrarianism.
( Though people should think about each issue on its merits. Imho there seems to be a bit to much ' group-think' happening around here for an ' independent' site )
I am not overjoyed at all to be vindicated so quickly by these appalling events but renew my long standing warnings against the hard core fascist's LEFT Leninist as well as the lunar Right.
Both practise holocaust denial that if it is accepted lets them back in the main game - that is the rigged game of representational politics where they have a track record of creating havoc.
It simply does not bear thinking about what the hard left and hard right would do with the present police state.
It's bad enough what Howards mob are doing.
Getting rid of Howard should become a lot easier soon when all his allies and accomplices in the Coalition of the willing executioners collapse - as they will shortly. Until then Howards mouthpiece - the Goebbel's to his little Hitler needs to be taught a lesson - and if there is truly only one law for all in this country he will be.
